Managing Partner
Huntsville, Alabama

Jacob A. Maples, Managing Partner of Richardson Maples, PC, was born in Huntsville, Alabama on January 7, 1980. He received his undergraduate education at the University of Alabama (B.S. 2001) and his law degree from the University of Alabama School of Law (J.D. 2005). Jacob began his legal career in Birmingham, Alabama, handling primarily the defense of claims for insurance carriers. Similar to his law partner, James H. Richardson, Jacob decided several years ago to take his years of insurance defense expertise to the other side, and to devote his practice to the representation of those who have been injured and the families of those killed through no fault of their own. He is a frequent lecturer and CLE presenter, having recently participated as faculty for the Alabama Association for Justice's People's Law School and the Huntsville-Madison County Bar Association's Last Chance CLE.
